Project Manager (Brock):

  • Manages Features
    • Creation
      • Add description
      • Add acceptance criteria
    • Determines feature value for prioritization
    • Prioritize product backlog
  • Manages QOE stories and priority
  • Final say on sprint goal
  • Final say on upcoming features and roadmap plan

Product Owner (Bryan):

  • Manages Stories

    • Story Creation (but can delegate to team)

      • Add description

      • Add acceptance criteria

    • Determines story value for prioritization

    • Prioritize sprint backlog (Ready to Work and On Deck columns)

  • Final say on what's allowed into the sprint (break-ins, bring stories in or out)

Developers:

  • Refine stories

    • Adjust sizing as needed

    • Add technical details

    • Add story points

    • Ensure that all the needed information is present for work on the story

  • Assist in story writing as requested

Scrum Master (Rachel):

  • Helps the team: 

    • Finds ways to be effective and efficient in managing the backlog

    • Focus on delivering value

    • Understand the need for clear and concise backlog items

    • Remove impediments
